The Joy of Fido
We found Fido as an abandoned puppy one night while driving along the coast when we lived in Taiwan. We're not certain what he is, but he appears to be a husky/shepherd mix. He is beautiful, especially his coloring. I picked the name "Fido" as a tongue-in-cheek protest of how utterly unoriginal the Chinese can be about naming their dogs. The most common dog names in Taiwan are Little White, Little Black, and Little Mixed.
This picture was taken just a couple weeks after we found FIdo in the summer of 1996. The picture was taken on the northern coast in Taiwan, near the spot where we found Fido. The coloring around his face really changed since then. He's a lot cuter now.
Unluckily, Sandy does enjoy dressing up Fido.
